Yosemite Western Artists - Classes and Workshops

YWA offers a variety of outings, guest speakers, and other activities throughout the year. Members interested in suggesting or planning activities please contact Rita Adams at 559-683-3087. All arts are welcome including painting, photography, woodcarving, ceramics, jewelry, etc.

Members interested in offering classes or demonstrations please contact Rita Adams. All arts are welcome including painting, photography, woodcarving, ceramics, jewelry, etc. Some funding is available for artists interested in hosting classes or workshops. Please inquire if interested.

Demonstrations at Gertrude School

YWA meetings at the Gertrude School include a brief meeting, a potluck lunch and an artist's demo. There is a fee of $5 for members and $10 for guests. Demos are announced in the YWA newsletter or by email.


Painting from Life at Gertrude School - Meets at Gertrude School every Friday from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Cost is a donation of $5.00 to $7.00 for the model. Models are not always available so check with Doug ahead of time if you want to know. Artists working in all media are welcome. Contact Larry Potter if you have questions.
